Custom Pet Portraits
My pieces are each individually hand created and will vary accordingly. I like to believe that each piece has its own distinct "spirit".
Prices are based upon the amount of materials and the amount of time that goes into each piece.
Most of my felted wool animals measure roughly 6"-8" inches in length and are priced in the $120-$140 range, although smaller/simpler figures may be less and larger/more complex figures may be more.
Custom pet portraits require extra attention to detail. Prices for custom animals start at $150.
I have been carving seasonal figures since 2002 and have a special fondness for both the spiritual and whimsical icons of the Christmas season.
Jointed Carved Figures
I began working with Master Carvers Janet Cordell and Adina Huckins in 2010 to perfect my carvings of the human figure. Under their tutorage I have refined my technique and have learned much about realistically portraying the human face and movement in wood.
